In August 2024 I took the brave decision to quit a job within the food industry, a job that I loved and gained vast experience over the 18 years I had been there. 

It was a huge decision but one that was needed to help look after those nearest and dearest to me. To fill the financial void that this had created I started to explore avenues, which could help ease the financial burden that Mortgages, Bills and life tend to throw at us. 

This is where the Mobile Meal Man came in, supporting two of the passions I love in life, cooking for people I love and caring for those people as well.

With the Mobile Meal Man, I get to expand this desire to the good people of Wakefield.

We appreciate cooking isn’t for all of us, “Life too busy”, “it’s too much effort for just me”, “I can’t be bothered” or “I don’t know how” are just a few of the excuses we tell ourselves, before reaching for the takeaway card or snacking on easy fixes.

At MobileMealMan, we take all that hassle away for you. We cook set meals in suitably large batches, using the freshest and where possible locally sourced ingredients. We put all our heart and TLC into each batch as if we were cooking for our own family. 

Once each batch is completed and checked, they are frozen down to preserve the goodness ready for you to consume at your own leisure.

While at the same time offering quality home cooked meals, we also offer a range of staple grocery items for your convenience, So why not take a look at our Grocery section while your at it. 

Areas covered

We only service the following Postcodes WF1, WF2, WF3, WF4, WF5, WF6 and WF7.

Delivery is free on orders over £25 anything under then a £3 delivery charge will be applied.

Ordering

Since we are a small team, we only offer two days for delivery, these are Wednesdays and Friday.

· For a Wednesday delivery slot place an order between Thursday and Sunday.

· For a Friday delivery slot place an order between Monday and Wednesday.

While all our meals are provided frozen for convenience, for best results it is better to defrost the food in a fridge for 24 hours prior to reheating in a Microwave. If you want to eat the meal on the day of your delivery, we can defrost them prior to delivery. Please state if you would like this service when placing your order.

Delivery

When placing your order please specify the time when you will be in to accept your delivery. Although we can’t guarantee the delivery window, we will do our best to achieve this, and where needed communicate with you for alternative.

Finally, if there is a certain meal that you would like, but we don’t list, or a Grocery item that you would like, but again don’t list. Then Please drop us an E-mail and we will see if we can assist.

We are a new and local based, family run business, so our team only consist of three. However, with those three we all work well to our strengths. 

I'm your chef, head of hygiene and delivery driver. 

The teenager is our Artist, photographer and technology expert. 

My wife is my HR, Finance and Purchasing all rolled into one.

Between us all we hope to deliver you a truly personal and community service.
